Own more of what you build, not just what you sell.
Most networks ask you to hand over equity to grow. ABN works the other way, you keep ownership of your own AFSL, and we bring the licencing, compliance and systems that let it scale.
Most networks want a GWP minimum you cannot hit early on. Broker Associate status is built for exactly this stage, whether you are starting from scratch or already have a smaller book you want to grow, with compliance, systems and support already in place, and a path to Broker Partner as your business builds.
No AFSL of your own required to get started
Structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship from the ABN team
Full compliance, accounting and underwriter access from day one
Lower licence fees from day one, full underwriter access, and a support structure built for brokers building their first book, and for smaller existing books ready to grow, without the overheads of running your own AFSL.

What could lower fees mean for your business?
This is an illustrative estimate to help you think it through, not a quote. Your actual fee structure is confirmed during your enquiry.

Why brokers move to ABN
Everything you would expect from a network, minus the pressure to sell out.
You stay the specialist. We handle the parts of the business that pull you away from clients.
01
Equity, not just override
Broker Partners hold real equity in the ABN Group. Your growth builds an asset, not just a commission line.
02
Lower licence fees
Reduced fees as a Broker Associate, stepping down further as your GWP grows toward Partner status.
03
Revenue sharing
Earn a share of trust account interest and insurer overrides, on top of your own client revenue.
04
Succession, sorted
Talk to us about a purchase of your book and a succession plan that grows your net worth over time.

Broker Partner status has minimum gross written premium (GWP) and earnings criteria attached. Broker Associate has a lower bar to entry and is designed as a step toward Partner status as your book grows, tell us where your business sits and we will confirm which pathway fits.
ABN is system-agnostic. We are built to work around the tools you already use rather than force a migration, so the transition is designed to be as low-friction as possible.
It is a mutual NDA. It protects the details of your business while we discuss numbers, and protects ABN’s own commercial information in return. It is the first formal step after your enquiry, before any deeper conversation.
Yes, broker support excellence is part of the core offer. We can hold the fort during holidays or growth phases when your own team has not caught up with demand yet.
Yes. ABN can talk through a purchase of your book and a succession plan designed to grow your net worth ahead of an exit, as an alternative to joining as an active Broker Partner.
